Numy uses minimal browser storage. The exact cookies used can vary with the analytics services configured for the site and your privacy choices.

Local Storage

  • A downloaded exchange-rate snapshot may be cached for up to 24 hours.
  • Your analytics choice is stored under numy_analytics_consent in local storage for up to 180 days.

Analytics Storage

Cloudflare Zaraz delivers Google Analytics 4 after the applicable regional consent decision. In the UK, EEA, and Switzerland, it does not load until you allow analytics. Your choice is stored for up to 180 days and can be changed through Cookie settings in the footer. When analytics is enabled, GA4 may use cookies such as _ga and a property-specific _ga_*cookie according to the configured GA4 retention settings. Withdrawing analytics consent removes Numy's first party GA cookies and reloads the page to unload Zaraz.

Essential Storage

  • The calculator itself does not require an account or a usage-limit cookie.

Managing Browser Data

You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Enabling Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track also prevents Numy's own event helper from emitting analytics events.
