Scope
Numy is built by Moruk LLC. This policy covers the Numy mobile application and the Numy website. The mobile app works without an account. It evaluates supported calculations on your device and stores calculation documents, history, examples, settings, and onboarding state locally.
Mobile App Data and Local Processing
Supported calculations are processed locally. Numy does not intentionally send your typed calculations, calculation documents, or history to an AI provider or advertising provider.
Calculation documents, history, examples, preferences, consent state, and advertising cooldown information may remain in local app storage until you delete them, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Currency conversion requires a network request for current exchange rates. The rate provider may receive standard request information such as your IP address, device or app headers, and request time.
Mobile Advertising, Consent, and Identifiers
The free mobile app is supported by Google AdMob app open and banner ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process information such as your IP address, general device and app information, approximate location, ad interactions, consent signals, and a platform advertising identifier when that identifier is available and its use is permitted.
Numy uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where required before requesting ads. On iOS, App Tracking Transparency (ATT) is handled separately when applicable. Refusing personalised advertising or ATT permission does not necessarily remove all ads. Numy may still show contextual or non-personalised ads where available and permitted.
You can reopen Ad Privacy Choices from the app settings when Google makes the privacy form available. You can also change tracking permissions, reset or delete your advertising identifier, and control ad personalisation through your device settings. A changed or withdrawn choice applies to future ad requests and does not undo processing that occurred lawfully before the change.
Mobile Analytics
On physical devices running a production version, Numy uses Firebase Analytics to understand app reliability and feature use. Events may cover screen views, onboarding, calculation starts, completions and failures, return usage, and advertising lifecycle or revenue. They may include technical context such as app version, build number, platform, timing, input length, calculation category, and consent mode. We filter event data and do not intentionally include typed expressions, calculation documents, history, email addresses, phone numbers, authentication data, or advertising identifiers in Numy's custom analytics parameters.
Firebase Analytics operates using the applicable UMP consent signals. While consent is unresolved or denied, analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalisation consent signals remain denied. Numy may still send limited, content-filtered measurement events in this basic consent mode without setting Numy's app-scoped analytics user ID. When analytics storage is permitted, Numy may create a random, app-scoped analytics user ID and keep it in local app storage. It is not your name, email address, advertising identifier, or account ID. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app removes Numy's locally stored copy.
Diagnostics
Numy uses Sentry for crash and reliability diagnostics. Diagnostic information may include app version, operating system, device type, error details, timestamps, network state, and technical breadcrumbs. We configure diagnostics to minimise personal content and do not intentionally include your calculation documents or history in diagnostic reports.
Website Calculations, Storage, and Analytics
Calculations entered on the Numy website run in your browser. We do not intentionally send those expressions to our servers or analytics providers. Website currency conversions use current rates from api.frankfurter.dev, which may receive standard network request information.
The website may keep an exchange rate snapshot in browser storage for up to 24 hours and an analytics choice under numy_analytics_consent for up to 180 days. Cloudflare Zaraz may send limited events to Google Analytics 4, including calculation outcome categories, selected example positions, exchange rate refresh status, broad timing buckets, tool identifiers, and app store link placements. Typed expressions, operands, results, exact errors, and currency amounts are not included. In the UK, EEA, and Switzerland, optional analytics loads only after consent. Numy also respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track.
Service Providers and Information Sharing
Depending on the platform and feature, Numy may use Google for AdMob advertising, UMP, Firebase Analytics in the mobile app, and Google Analytics 4 on the website; Sentry for diagnostics; Cloudflare for website hosting and security; exchange rate providers; and Apple App Store or Google Play for app distribution. These providers process information under their own terms as needed to deliver their services.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not require an account for normal mobile app use.
- We do not use calculation documents or history to build an advertising profile.
- We do not intentionally send typed calculations to advertising providers.
Retention and Deletion
Local app information remains until you remove it, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Browser storage remains until its stated expiry or until you clear it. Advertising, diagnostic, analytics, security, and support information is retained according to provider settings, operational needs, and legal obligations, then deleted, aggregated, or de-identified when no longer needed.
Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, or request a portable copy. Because Numy has no account, we may not be able to associate local device data with you. You can remove that data using app, device, or browser controls. Contact us for requests involving identifiable support, diagnostic, advertising, or website data that we can reasonably locate.
Children's Privacy
Numy is a general calculator and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you are below the age at which you can consent to data processing where you live, use Numy only with permission from a parent or guardian. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information that should be deleted.
Policy Changes
We may update this policy when Numy's products, providers, or legal obligations change. The updated date on this page identifies the latest version.
